You can sign up by:
- Downloading the Happn.Live app
- Login using Google or Apple ID
Once verified, you can start sharing and exploring live updates.
Yes, it is completely free to use.
Happn.Live uses your device’s location (with your permission) to:
- Show nearby live updates
- Allow others to see posts from specific locations
- Enable on-demand content requests
You can manage location permissions in your device settings at any time.
The posted photo(s) and/or 30-second video(s) remains for 24 hours before it gets automatically deleted. This is to ensure content relevancy.
An on-demand Live Request allows users to ask for live updates from a specific location.
For example:
- “What’s happening at Marina Bay right now?”
- “Show me the queue at this café.”
Users at or near that location can respond with live updates.
A user can submit a maximum of 3 (three) Live Requests per day.
Happn.Live may display general location data (such as area or venue), but your precise GPS coordinates are not publicly shown.
We prioritize user safety through:
- Community guidelines
- Content moderation
- Reporting and blocking tools
- Account verification processes
Users can report inappropriate behaviour or content directly in the app.
To report content:
- Tap the three-dot menu on the post
- Select “Report Issue”
- Choose the reason
Our moderation team will review the report.
Yes. You can:
- Delete individual posts within the app
- Request account deletion in your account settings (Profile>Settings> Delete Account?
Once deleted, your content and data will be handled according to our Privacy Policy.
Yes, certain data is stored to provide and improve the service. This may include:
- Account information
- Location data (with permission)
- Usage analytics
- Uploaded content
