1. Acceptance of Terms

   Welcome to Happn.Live (“App,” “Service,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), a real-time social platform that allows users to share live updates, request on-demand content from locations, and discover real-time posts from places.
   These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Service.
   The Service is operated by an independent individual developer, Faizal Ahmad, based in Singapore.
   By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and the Happn.Live Privacy Policy.
   If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

2. Eligibility
   
   You must:
   be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required by local law)
   comply with applicable laws and regulations
   provide accurate account information
   We may suspend or terminate accounts that do not meet eligibility requirements.

3. Description of the Service
   
   Happn.Live allows users to:
   share real-time posts, photos, and videos (up to 30 seconds)
   request live updates from specific locations
   attach location data to content
   discover posts from nearby places
   interact with other users through comments and requests
   We may modify or discontinue features at any time.

4. Accounts & Authentication
   
   You may create an account using:
   Sign in with Apple
   Google Sign-In
   You agree to:
   maintain account security
   not share access credentials
   notify us of unauthorized account use
   We do not access or store Apple or Google passwords.
   You are responsible for all activity conducted under your account.

5. User Content & License
   
   You retain ownership of content you post.
   By uploading content, you grant Happn.Live a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to:
   host
   store
   process
   display
   distribute
   your content solely for operating and improving the Service.
   This license ends when content is deleted from active systems, except where retention is necessary for:
   moderation
   legal obligations
   security investigations
   dispute resolution

6. Temporary Content & Retention
   
   Happn.Live is designed for temporary real-time sharing.
   Media posts are stored for up to 24 hours
   After 24 hours, content is removed from active systems
   Temporary backups may exist briefly for technical or security reasons
   We do not guarantee permanent storage of user content.
   Users are responsible for keeping copies of their own media.

7. Location-Based Features
   
   Some features rely on location data.
   By using these features, you acknowledge:
   location sharing is voluntary and controlled through device settings
   location may be attached to posts or requests you choose to create
   other users may view location-associated content
   You are responsible for any risks related to sharing your location publicly.
   Happn.Live is not responsible for:
   offline interactions
   real-world encounters
   actions taken outside the platform

8. Acceptable Use & Community Rules
   
   You agree not to:
   harass or threaten others
   post illegal or harmful material
   impersonate individuals or organizations
   misuse location features for stalking or harassment
   exploit minors
   distribute spam or deceptive content
   attempt to bypass safety or moderation systems
   We may remove content or accounts at our discretion.

9. Content Moderation & Reporting
   
   Users may report:
   posts
   comments
   accounts
   live update requests
   We may:
   remove content
   restrict visibility
   suspend or terminate accounts
   retain moderation records for safety enforcement
   Moderation may involve automated detection tools and manual review.

10. Privacy & Data Use
    
    Your use of the Service is governed by the Happn.Live Privacy Policy, which describes:
    data collection and authentication
    location data usage
    Firebase analytics
    temporary content storage
    data sharing practices
    account deletion rights
    We do not sell personal data.

11. Third-Party Services
    
    The Service uses third-party providers including:
    Apple authentication
    Google authentication
    Google Firebase (analytics, hosting, infrastructure)
    Cloud storage providers for temporary media
    These providers operate under their own terms and privacy policies.

12. Account Deletion & Termination
    
    You may delete your account:
    through in-app deletion tools, or
    by contacting hello@happn.live
    Upon deletion:
    account information will be removed
    active media follows the 24-hour deletion process
    safety and legal records may be retained where necessary
    We may suspend or terminate accounts that:
    violate these Terms
    create safety risks
    engage in abusive or illegal conduct

13. Disclaimers
    
    The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.”
    We do not guarantee:
    uninterrupted service
    real-time accuracy of posts
    reliability of user-generated content
    permanent storage of content
    User-generated content does not represent our views.

14. Limitation of Liability
    
    To the maximum extent permitted by law, Happn.Live is not liable for:
    user conduct or interactions
    offline incidents
    location-sharing consequences
    loss of user content
    indirect or consequential damages

15. Indemnification
    
    You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Happn.Live and its operator from claims arising from:
    your content
    misuse of the Service
    violation of these Terms or applicable laws

16. Changes to Terms
    
    We may update these Terms periodically.
    Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

17. Governing Law
    
    These Terms are governed by prevailing laws, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
